Public Liability insurance for discharged bankrupt

Can anybody help?

I have been discharged from bankruptcy for 3 or 4 years now and need to get public liability insurance to subcontract to my old company as a bathroom fitter.
I cannot find anyone who will insure me and this will stop me earning a living. I find this galling as I sold my house and everyone I owed got 100% of their money PLUS interest and now I cant work because I cant get insurance. Any help very gratefully received... Thank You

Who handled your bankruptcy? They may have some suggestions for you to try - I guess you wouldn't be the first to ask the question.
