Yes you are right that bit what BT say is misleading. I didnt know what BT broadband talk was until I looked it up and as you rightly say BT do state that it can take a regularly phone. But thats down to BT misleading product information
If the office supplier stated it was VOIP and it wasn't then you may have the DSR and SOGA on your side, however if it didn't state VOIP compatible then I assume you have to take it that it doesn't0 -
they don't list the Voip compatibilty for any of the phones they sell, and I now know that some of them are Voip phones.0
