Mortgages post divorce

I have recently divorced and I'm looking for mortgage companies that will accept all my income rather than just my salary. I have maitenance, child benefit and working tax credit. Please can anyone suggest companies that will accept maitenance and possibly these other payments as income?

Or ask at MSE for free advice which is what the original poster has done. That is what MSE is here for.

"Advice" isn't given here it is opinion........This case isn't something as straightforward as asking " what is the lowest tracker rate for 2yrs"......this is very specific to a person's circumstances, for example the route maintenance is paid will influence borrowing...also.....People are increasingly posting on here the problems they are facing with multiple credit scoring...Few lenders are going to consider this OP's applications, so yes they do need advice specific to them & advice can't be given until the full circumstances are known by a person authorised to give advice.........however maybe you have a recommendation for this person, if so feel free to post so we can all see...........after all that is what MSE is here for............

Have a read through this. http://www.ybs.co.uk/mortgages/types/freshstart/index.html

I'm not suggesting that you take this mortgage, but there is a guide to mortgages for people in your situation, which is worth reading so you can gain insight before you see an independent Mortgage Adviser, and I agree with fiesty1 in that you should seek professional help in your case.

Alliance & Leicester will accept Working Family Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and maintenance (as long as the maintenance has been received for at least 12 months)
    I am a Mortgage adviser
You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. MSE has nearly half a million members. Many of them are experts in their field. Many of them, yourself included, use their experience to help others. In this case dwsjarcmcd and koexelek have made interesting and useful suggestions.

Remember on BB give me advice really means "tell me what my options might be give the limited info I have given".

Rather the the stricter "I advise this is the best XXXXXX for you because....."
