IPOQ Questionaire

Me and my Dh are 5 months into our Bankruptcy and we have both recieved IPOQ'S to fill in with a letter to ask if there has been any change in our income since Bankruptcy proceedings began.
My husband is disabled and gets DLA so our only income is benefits and our only income at the time of Bankruptcy was benefits so we don't pay an IPA and we haven't been asked to, this is the only communication we have recieved except that I recieved some documents back that the OR requested during our telephone interview.
Has anyone else recieved and IPOQ questionaire midway through their Bankruptcy?

No, on the first page of the letter there are the letters ADHOC near the top right hand corner, on the questionaire it simply has IPOQ near the to right hand corner.
On the first page of the letter it states that we need to return the IPOQ questionaires within 14 days
I doubt it is for ED but that would be nice
but not expecting early discharge as it not really make any difference to us if we were discharged soon or in September. 0 -
Could those letters stand for Actual Discharge H

Well it may be that they are going to put you forward for ED and are just checking to make sure there is no change first;) . With these new rules relating to pay and imposing IPA's in the OR's office ,they may be worried they are going to miss out:p. ED can not be considered until(i think it's 4 months)have passed since the bc date.
We have seen a few recently who have been sent IPOQ's after about 5 months.Stop worrying please.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

from a past post....The OR will firstly send 'report to creditors' this is normally done within 8 weeks of the making of the bankruptcy order (your appearance at court etc). It's the initial report from the OR that tells creditors (amongst other things) the reasons for the insolvency and the likelihood of creditors receiving any payments from the estate.
The OR's office must then wait 3 months before they can consider starting the ED process if they feel it is appropriate.
For the ED, you have 14+7 days to return the IPOQ (I&E questionnaire..this is sent to you from the OR office if your considered for ED) after which the OR can write to the creditors to say that they will be applying for the ED and request any objections.
The OR's office must then wait 28 +7 days to allow creditors to reply. Then if no valid objections have been received, the ED notice can be submitted to the court.
So the quickest the ED could happen (in theory) is 56-57 days after the you get the ED/IPOQ letter.
it often takes longer and can even be shelved at any stage if the office is too busy with new cases as ED is NEVER a guarantee...Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

We recieved some more post a few days ago reguarding out joint life insurance policy. Our life insurance policy has no surrender value and we have been given 2 options:
1. To cease payment of the premiums, which will mean that the policy will lapae, or
2. To pay the Official Reciever £50 to assign the policy back to us.
We have to let them know what we decided to do with 14 days (now around 10 days)
If we wanted to buy our policy back from the OR do we have to send a cheque or postal order with our decision letter or do it at a later date?
I would rather send them a cheque (I will get a family member to write one for me if the OR will allow that) as a postal order will cost more.0
