as the title says, I need some help
I have a recipe I'd like to make for lunchboxes (mini quiches) and it says to use bisquick. The mini quiches don't actually have a pastry type base, the bisquick is mixed in with the egg and milk, then poured over the ham and cheese. I suppose it's a bit like a mini impossible pie?
I've found a recipe on making bisquick from scratch ( I have all the things in the house to make it) I'm just a bit dubious though.
Any replies greatfully appreciated.

I think this looks rather a fun recipe, arkonite babe! Am going to try it myself to see what comes out - a good one for the Remoska too, I think. I looked Bisquick up in Wikipedia, and it gives the recipe there - all the other recipes I saw seem to contain lots of sugar which you don't want here."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0

I've used Bisquick to make this kind of pie and it did work. I can't see why it would be any different with the home-made version.0

Thank you, I shall try these in the next few days0

There is a recipe on this board somewhere under a thread entitled Make Your Own Convenience Mixes if memory serves me correctly - although it often doesn't! I don't know how to do a link sorry. I've made the recipe up anyway & kept it in the fridge & its worked just as well as the bought version.0
