Looking for a dress dyeing service?!?!?!

Hi all,

I have just picked up a cheap bridesmaid dress for DD but it is an ivory colour and all my other bridesmaid dresses are in blue and white.
I have had problems getting her a nice dress as she will be nearly 10 at the wedding and is in the 'in-between' age where she is to grown up to have a flower girl dress but to young to have a strapless dress like my older bridesmaid.

Does anyone know of a good dress dyeing service that will be able to colour match with the other dresses????

All help appriciated!!!

hi ya why not put a wide blue band round her ivory dress and see if you can find a blue bolero jacket or blue wrap and blue shoes it would be a nice contrast x
    wins :- x2 hair dyes ,mascara, epilator,personalised card , glass photo ,
comp angels please throw some luck my way

  • I did think of putting a sash round the middle but there is already a big bow on the back so this would not work.

The dress colour really does not go at all, it is quite a rich creamy colour, where as the blue and white are quite crisp, they do not go at all.
Stupidly I thought it would be easy just to buy it then get it dyed but this is proving to be a bit of a problem.
Also as it is made from polyester alot of the dyeing places won't touch it!!!!!

As the dress is polyester you could use a dye in your washing machine (which has to be on a very hot wash as I understand it). I have found a dye on google:
