Abbey Standard variable rate

Hi

Does anyone know what the current Abbey Standard Variable rate is? We are currently on a fixed rate, but this is due to end soon. The paperwork I have says we will then switch to the SVR, which is listed as 7.84%, which is really high, but I'm guessing that's come down now? I've looked on their website, but can't find it listed anywhere.

4.69%. They put it down on 1st Feb.

abbey are allways last to let you know what there doing not very profesional im afraid!!

This has gone up, i looked last month and it was 3.9%, so BoE have dropped the base rate and abbey has put thir SVR up! Why would they do this?

I agree with you there. Just had letter with the rate cut in Jan. I`m now at 2.54%.

No abbeys svr was 4.94 last month and they only past on 0.25% of last months cut.Bloody rouges if you ask me!!
