ASDA cancelled Home Delivery - BUT STILL TOOK THE MONEY! Help!

I can't get out to do a big shop so have home deliveries every few weeks. Changed to Asda from Sainsbury's as I liked their substitute policy.
Week before Christmas they phoned me to say my card hadn't gone through (money was in account), I phoned bank they said get them to retry. Did that but because they now had put it through twice it wouldn't authorise!Bank then cancelled both and I had to ring Asda to retry, it took ages to sort out but eventually got delivery and a headache.
Delivery ordered for yesterday 2-4 p.m. Time came and went, I phoned customer service (Africa?) at 5 (someone will phone you back) 6 (ditto) 7 I phoned the local depot, the order had been returned as the driver couldn't find us. Explicit delivery instructions are on the delivery note which drivers don't read, he couldn't phone us as he had a van without a phone.
The lady said they would redeliver this morning and refund delivery fee.
Today, no delivery so I phoned depot, the order was definitely on the van in my area. 2/3/4 p.m no order. Online it said it was delivered, the depot didn't believe me when I said no delivery ..... until he looked on the van (returned and the driver gone home) and my order was in it, no explanation. So now rescheduled for tomorrow + a £5 gift card for my trouble. I asked for the fresh food to be repicked. We shall wait and see.
Sorry this is so long, think a letter to Asda head office is warranted?

delivered today but not repicked so all fresh food has very short date and no gift voucher. unhappy bunny
