Not sure which way to go??

Just to explain that although it says I have 2 cars I only use 1. The other is in bits and is off road in a friends garage as I can't afford to get it fixed at pesent to sell it.
So my car maintenance, tax, insurance, petrol etc..... is for 1 car which I need to get to work, pick the kids up from ex and school, go shopping etc....

Your SoA looks pretty reasonable to me. Obviously you have a negative at the bottom but you are going to sort that by renting.

Please be aware that NDL are very busy at the moment and it took me over half an hour to get through the other day with my finger constantly on redial.

All the best and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks for the reply tigerfeet.

Am is it out of order if I stop paying things to save for a deposit on rented accomodation?

I do feel really ashamed of my situation but do realise that my health is more important than trying to pay back debts which are keeping me awake at night.

Do you think I have a good case for going br?

Am is it out of order if I stop paying things to save for a deposit on rented accomodation? Not out of order at all. This is the accepted way to do it and dozens on here have done exactly that.

I do feel really ashamed of my situation but do realise that my health is more important than trying to pay back debts which are keeping me awake at night. Do not feel ashamed, you have done your best an dnow need to get your life back under control, well done on seeking advice on how to do that.

Do you think I have a good case for going br?

You are insolvent, what better case is there?

Managed to get through to the National Debtline and I feel so relieved, they actually said that with the situation i am in that my best option would be bankruptcy. The sick feeling in my stomach is going away.
Advice given was to stop paying everything and save for a deposit on rented accomodation.

Hello AAW and a welcome from me....

Most of us stopped paying our creditors to save - either for our BR fees, or as in your case a deposit. It really is the only thing to be done in the circumstances.
    Good Luck
