Sainsburys.co.uk sent me an email advertising Return of the KIng - Extended version for £11.50. I couldn't get the link to work but that's my machine, I reckon !

Seems like it's 'save' £11.50 (now at least). Costs about £24.50 which is not competitive.

but you can get

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, The Extended Edition for £12.99
Lord Of The Rings, The: The Two Towers (Special Extended Edition) (Four Discs) 11.99
Lord Of The Rings, The: The Return Of The King (Special Extended Edition) (Four Discs) £17.99 Noy bad if you need to see the extended version now

The whole thing will then add up to 42.97.

Amazon do the box set for £19 delivered - all of them are 2 discs per film.

Who wants an extended version of Return of the King!!! It's the longest film ever - another 45 minutes would be torturous!

And if https://www.dvd.co.uk run out there's always Amazon, £19.00 delivered, going through Greasypalm gives you 3% of giving a final price of £18.43. Even cheaper for those of you with Amazon discount vouchers.
