My ds goes to play school and i can't believe they all have birthday party's So far we have only ever had family and close friends that have children to his bday.
So he keeps getting invited to all theses parties so i need quite a few presents i only really want to spend £5 as some of the kids i don't even know nor have anything to do with there mums. The invities get passed to me from the teachers so i don't even know who they have come from.
He has 2 parties this month. At this rate i will have to start and say no to a few but everyone seems to go to them and i want him and me to get some friends after all these will be the children he will be going up to school with.
Any ideas?

Have you tried the book people? There's free delivery atm if you spend over £25 - there's always sets of books that you could split up to make them go further.
Also, it's worth checking poundland, you often see craft kits and books or toys that don't look like they've only cost £1.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it

Amazon do some cheap toys that are ideal for popping in a box ready for parties - Crayola items are on offer at the moment and suit boys and girls so ideal to keep in.
Crayola Giant Colouring Book - £1.94 could go with Super Washable Pens £2.34 (fab as they really do come off the skin) or Crayola Wax Crayons £1.01 for the younger ones
Crayola bug rock kit (for the age 4 ones) - £3.91
Crayola Stamptastic - £4.89
Crayola Colour Wonder Poster - £4.89 - no mess as pens only work on the magic paper.
Lots of other items on the site too if you do a search. I like craft items as easily used, not too bulky and you can never have too many - especially in this weather :rotfl:0 -
Look for any bargains & stash them. I have a whole box of "presents" I have doodle doug & doodle daisy's £6.50 from Amazon (1/2 price), over the door posters £1.75 from woolies (originally over £10), big fleece blankets £3.99 from dunelm (originally £8), I have some gifts from the boots 75% off sale (some £5 from £20), I also have a great sporticus scooter thing £7.50 from boots 75% off sale so someone will be very lucky.

Try having a look in the clearence section of argos too. If they have the toy in your local store you can get some really good bargains. I also look in there for buy one get one free on things that are around a tenner. It looks like you have spent more on the littles ones then.
Oh and home and bargains if you have one locally.Smart price rocks!0
