I'm going to make a bigger version and make handmade cards to put inside and give out as presents and I'm going to try and sell them at bazaars etc

Nice idea. I'll have another go at mine tomorrow - had a meeting this morning and off to have my hair done in a bit - having too many 'bad hair days' so think it needs sorting out:rotfl:

Can't post piccys as I don't have all the hi-tech stuff (digi camera, scanner etc) I'll just have to describe it and leave it to your imagination:rotfl:

What are the 'credit crunch' cards and how are you making your bookmarks ?
I want to make some bookmarks and not sure whether to use card with ribbon stuck on and a tassel or fabric:confused:

with the credit crunch cards we've just kept the design as plain as possible and kept them as flat as possible to keep the price down if they're being sent through the post
we're selling them for 75p each or 5 for £3 plus postage
the photo shows a selection we've made

the bookmarks are metal , silver coloured and we're personalising them with alphabet beads or decorating them with coloured beads

The cards look really good -just goes to show how simply and cheaply they can be done. The bookmarks look lovely...........and there was me thinking I was clever concocting one for my journal/diary out of a shoe lace and a couple of beads............:rotfl:
