You forgot the link, but you've said that you "fell in love with it" and really it's only your opinion that matters. Go for it!

If you love it - then it is enough.

Enough for what?? Everyone else to look at?

Everyone else doesn't matter, if you love it then that's enough, and it's not the size of the diamond, it's the meaning behind it that is important.

My friend has an engagement ring in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Its cubic zirconia.. not a diamond in sight but she*absolutely* adores it. You have to have it on your finger.

    Congrats on your engagement!

As everyone else has said, if it's the one you want then it doesn't matter in the slightest if it's traditional, a fancy diamond or a plastic gumball. It's the symbol of your love and that is what makes it special.

When I was looking at engagement rings, a man outside the shop (proper wise-looking old man) said to me "You know my dear, love isn't measured in carats, it's in thoughts and deeds and what is truly in your heart"

    I thought he was awesome!!!
    Nobody I'd rather be ;)

If you love it you can't ask for an more than that!

I don't know about anyone else but I was that shocked and happy when OH proposed that having the exact 'perfect' ring that I would have picked myself went right out of the window! The one he picked was amazing because he picked it and its lovely!!

Everyone else is right....its how you feel about the ring and what it represents! Who cares if it's not a huge carat or whatever!

Congratulations and wear your gorgeous ring with pride hun! x
:D Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j
