    Hi Guys,

I can confirm that I recieved a letter dated 28/1/06 asking me to pay my debt of approx £1700 at £70 a month by DD. There was no mention whatsoever of sending an SOA, just asking me to call them to make an initial payment whilst my DD was being set up.

I called them, as asked, and the rude arrogant woman at Crapquest said the offer of £70 had now been withdrawn (what 4 days later?) and they wanted £150 pm. Of course I told her I was unable to afford this. She said I MUST send in an SOA before they will reduce the amount. I was seething.

I haven't sent them an SOA, and have no intention of doing so. I have written them a letter, in polite way, quoting the letter they sent, and asking them about their business ethics, and policies.

i think they come from the same stock as RMA see my previous threads. I think most staff that work for these organisations are tested on how rude and intimidating they can be before they get a job, or maybe i'm just a cynic.

A common ploy to offer you something to get you to call then its easier for them to intimidate and bully. I would do a recalculation and offer what you can really afford which is likely to be a lot less than £70 pm.

I note earlier TRoll said they wouldn't be serving their clients best interests if they didn't try to maximise the income. However maybe write to the original lender to complain about their behaviour after all its them they represent and by default tarnish their name as well.

Personally now i hope they take me to court cause they deffo wont get what they are looking for. Well anyway now they are dealing with Payplan and that really annoyed them !!!

    Sorry for the rant guys
