You could claim them from your income when you receive payment for your work.

Who do you think would pay you for training as a plasterer? The only way I can think of is if you got work in a construction company and they were willing to support you developing your skills - and you would have to agree to work for them for a fixed period of time or repay the cost of the training.

Well, if you were working for a construction company they could claim for paying for the Training through the "train to gain" scheme.

Also, if you recieve any benefits i.e council tax benefit etc they are often sub'ed or free. Contact your local college and they can give you info on access fund, adult learning funds, skills account (if you hardly have any quals) etc...
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

If you don't already have a level 2 qualification (NVQ 2/ 5 GCSEs Grade C or over) you would be eligible to have your fees paid for your first level 2 qualification, whether full or part time. Ask your local college about the" Level 2 Entitlement".
