  • as long as your debts outway your assets you are insolvent. you can go br from as little as £750 so no you wont be refused for having to little debt

  • we still trying to fumble along at moment. an to be honest trying to get money together to pay for 2 seperate charges if we decide to go down the route or br. still paying debts not missed any payments but know we cant go on. most debt advisers telling us to just stop paying our creditors. i dont understand cos then they can say what are you doing with this spare money then.?
  • You stop paying your creditors to raise the bankruptcy funds - it is a common thing to do. You will need to be able to show what you do with any funds over and above the bankruptcy funds, so it might be stocking up on food, sorting out rented accommodation, etc.
