Well Hubby was supposed to have his face to face meeting today, yup its not happening now due to bad weather........ Im kinda upset about this as I really wanted it over with. They will be in touch to do it another time. There is so much to happen with his business, just wanted some answers.
Myself, well I have to look forward to a call at 2PM, this is still going ahead, I was supposed to be in work this morning but cant go in due to kids schools being shut
So sat here nervous, hate waiting with kids running riot! snow on my carpet again......

Hi nervousmother,
A bit of bad weather and England seems to grind to a halt! I am sorry that the wait is set to continue for your OH but at least yours will still go ahead for today...
I must say that the 5 weeks I am having to wait between my BR and the OR seem to be the longest of my life.... I shall be so relieved when it is done.
Best wishes for today - I will be thinking of you.
Let us know how you got on, won't you?
Good Luck

Of course I will, hopefully to reassure others, but maybe to get some sympathy if they take my car give me a BRO and sell my liver... hmmmm wonder it they will do that in future? hehe
Mine should be more simply, joint loan taken out 5 years ago, my overdraft is the worse one, but id done the christmas shopping when hubby showed me papers... and i didnt realise that id loose my bank account!! but hopefully she will see that, are women or's worse than men? wonder if she is trying to prove anything....
know what you mean about waiting, 6th jan we went BR, kinda stuck in limbo, although we have been tight with spending and kept the last 2 months wage with no creditors to pay, money safe away for emergencies or rainly day... or to buy my liver back
We are so bad with dealing with snow! where were the gritters?? and how come they dont do side streets? we live on a hill.. was bad getting up it last night!... poor OH, he is disabled and cant walk on the stuff0 -
Hi,
I had a young lady or for the phone interview and she was lovely! Didn't have much of a sense of humour but very polite and pleasant. And she didn't ask for my liver - not worth much now anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Too much wine in my youth)

I know what you mean about the gritters - they are supposed to be working flat out - but I am not sure where! We have a very elderly population where I live and they are really struggling with the icy pavements, very nasty.
My OR is a female as well - well to be precise she is not the OR but "a member of his staff" - whatever that means? I was fine until recently about the upcoming interview - I thought my SOA was relatively simple and fairly low but a couple of posters recently have had things like presents and holidays refused which although it is not the end of the world, if she did cut mine out or down it is giving me very little leeway on my budget and could bring an IPA into play. I really want to avoid that. People say it isn't the end of the world but I would rather not.
Hey ho

I can't help feeling that from everything that gets written here that it's the luck of the drawer with your soa! Nothing on my soa was mentioned by the or and I had £60 down for holidays! We even kept the car, no IPA either

That is exactly the same conclusion I have reached Jaynee. It seems a pity that it is luck of the draw. As you say, some people seem to have a really easy ride with the OR interview and yet one or two get the Spanish Inquisition.
I am relatively confident that I will get to keep my car, but of course with that you have the repair and servicing bills ..... worry , worry!

Our car is a banger but saying that it went through it's mot last week and it only needed 2 new tyres. First bit of luck we've had for years - and you should have seen the face on the bloke at the garage who usually repairs it! Not a happy chappie thought he was going to get a few more £'s out of us - HEE HEE!!!!!!

good luck this afternoon. My or is a lady & she is lovely, she has a sense of humour aswell!!! I had my 19 month old daughter when i had my phone interview & she said if i needed to put the phone down to feed her or anything than it was ok.
With regards to soa, we are a family of 7 so i had put down £800 for food & £100 travel costs as we dont have a car & she never even mentioned them!!
I had also put down £108 a month activities for kids (as advised on here) she said that was high & asked what they were & how much they all cost!!! Felt really horrible but i had to make up some things!!! She said she would have to reduce it as it was quite high, could only have £102!!!! No Christmas or Holiday fund allowed either, but we were still under for an IPA.0 -
i actually want them to bring up the soa, i didnt put down for holls, kids activities (apart from child 3 violin lessons at £5) contents insurance.. iv made a list now. got down £620 for housekeeping but it includes school meals for 3 kids, ooo still so nervous.. going toilet every 5 mins hehe0
