Bit late- sorry- free Buddy Holly cd for every reader. Either £1.45 with a padded envelope, or £1.99 without.Claim the first cd from the newly remastered double cd set- Heartbeat. It features 22 tracks such as 'Heartbeat', 'It's so easy', Maybe Baby, That'll be the day. It also seems to have some tracks by Richie Valens and The Big Bopper.

    maybe!

    But there's a moral there:

    Get shut of your mobile.
They're very expensive, and the masts are emitting radiation day in day out.

and the masts are emitting radiation day in day out.

    As is when power applied,
your TV, your VCR, your DVD player, your HiFi ....
your fridge, your freezer, your vacuum cleaner, hair dryer
your lightbulbs, electric shower, electric blanket
your PC, the monitor your sitting right in front of, your modem, your speakers
even the wiring thats under the floors, in the ceiling and buried in your walls

Then there's your car, the Sun and, of course not forgetting, yourself !

If there is electricity, there is radiation.

You are of course correct, although there is nowhere near the amount of radiation emitting from these appliances, or there'd have been heated debates into it. They all emit at a safe level, unlike masts.

but the main difference is the things you mention, apart from hairdriers and leccy blankets, and to some extent PCs, although my PC has made me a fortune are necessities, unlike mobile phones.
    E.g:

your TV, We like to watch programmes, and have no safer way to watch them

your VCR, your DVD player, your HiFi .... Same as above, and rarely used

your fridge, your freezer, your vacuum cleaner, All needed unless we want to be ill ( WE don't NEED a mobile phone)

    hair dryer Never use
your lightbulbs, all low energy and have been since the very first ones came out, and again we do need to illuminate dark rooms.

electric shower, We do need to keep clean!

electric blanket never had one nor ever would
your PC, yes, another thing we don't actually "NEED" but again radiation emissions have been checked and are at an absolute minimum and I keep a rubber plant and spider plant in here which soak up emissions.

the monitor your sitting right in front of, (That would be "you're" which is short for you are, as opposed to your which means belonging to you:cool: ) Again covered by what I said previously

your modem, your speakers don't use speakers and until recently just had a dial up line. I also only use this pc for about 20 mins per day, I go to the library where they're on anyhow.
even the wiring thats under the floors, in the ceiling and buried in your walls

    again all needed

Then there's your car, The car emits no radiation but it does of course emit very very dangerous fumes. This is why we always walk or cycle when poss, NEVER leave the car engine running and have a very small engine. A family car, it does 2 and a half thousand miles a year which included last year 6 uk holidays and several days out to theme parks. Anywhere local, we walk.

the Sun and, of course not forgetting, yourself ! Again non avoidable unless the sun goes bang and I commit suicide

My point is, we do not NEED mobile phones! I am 45 and have never had one. I have a perfectly viable alternative at home, called a landline. I do not have a viable alternative to my fridge etc. You just cannot compare!!!!!!

People will always be ignorant, but when the first claims appear, like they did with cigarettes, people will then realise the enormity of the situation.

if mobiles were simply carried by people in case of genuine emergency, you'd maybe have one or 2 phone calls made a day and we'd need a mast or t wo in each area.

My kids mean far more to me than to be on the end of a phone day and night. It's our kids who are having to live surrounded by all this crap.

And as I also said, mobiles are very expensive and a waste of cash. I pay £16 a month for my broadband, line rental and uk calls. That's £4 a week. Why then pay extra to buy a phone and pay for calls on a mobile? makes no sense to money savers.

I do understand if teenagers are going out alone it is in their interests to carry one for emergency (Even tho we never did)
There, the pros match the cons. And as I said, if they were only actually USED in a case of emergency they'd rarely be used anyway so the cons wouldn't be as bad as they actually are!!!! Plus I wouldn't want my daughter or son using one all the time. There was a lad who died a few weeks ago from mobile phone usage.

Like I say, wait for the claims ........................
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...
