  • hi no its not a secured loan i had 7000 but to pay back its 15000 would you believe i used it all paying back debts if i had known i would end up broke no job i wounldnt have payed anything and had a lovely hoilday and money! I was going to go by myself (could ask my dad to come) as you say i dont have any money to pay them? should i ask them to take my court but even then they wouldmt do this because they would get nothing i was going to go to see what they will say? i will not sign nothing i was think maybe i could avoided paying court costs if they are to rude i will walk out and stick with plan a Br thanks in advance and thanks for all the advice given to me it does really help!

    To be perfectly honest I would stick with plan A anyway Sarah. Because even if they do agree to 30 a month that will take you 41 years to clear just that loan before even looking at any of the others...

    You have a better chance of a snowball fight in hell, than these people making (and paying for) your BR and you being able to save your fees. It won't happen, creditors just don't do it (Amex, Council Tax and HMRC are the exception to this rule).

    You need to have a long think about what you want to do. If plan A is BR, then you are wasting your time going to see them, you would do better spending the time in getting the information together ready to complete your BR forms.

    (All my opinion, of course!)

    Maybe it would be a good idea to take your Dad with you if you decide to go. At least your Dad will be able to see what these people are like in their pursuit of money - not saying that you Dad currently is not supportive cos most Dads are; he may just understand a bit more, as its a lot for them to take in.
  • i might go just to see what they say but i got to wait 3 months for my iva to be cancelled before i go BR but im got it in mind to go bankrupt any way thanks again for advice
  • HI been this morning a first she was very rude so i was just as rude and very snotie to her she worked it out my surplus was-349 a month or thier about and said they couldnt do anything but i all ready knew that before i went i also told her i was going bankrupt in 3 months when iva is cancelled she pulled a face and said phone them when start the process to let them know thanks again for everything i got the BR forms ready when i time comes will posts again when i need help filling the forms out thanks again for all your help keep your heads up theres always a light at the end of that dark tunnel tc sarahx
