Cheap eco-friendly laundry

Hello Im new to this so I apologise if everyone is already aware of this. Laundry discs which cost £35 and last for up to 400 washes. Ive got some and theyre fine. Its a big initial outlay but if you compare it to buying Ecover or other biodegradable, non-animal tested, chemical free stuff its a massive bargain. If you do a wash twice a week thats going to last you four years(god I hope my maths is right). The link is https://www.naturalcollection.com
Thanks

Youre best going to the website I suggested for more info. The product I actually bought (there are a few kinds) is unfortunately called Tsumani Wave (many years ago you understand) and basically they are plastic discs which wash your clothes without chemicals and they do work and also are very easy on the environmnent and your pocket. For all the physics and a proper description, like I say youre better off going to the website. Best wishes0

Before buying such items you should do your own research.

There are loads of sites saying the same thing. A waste of money.
Personally I will keep buying powder. But each to there own.

Nope my washing machine works fine thanks considering it is only a few months old.
And with most of these discs you need to use stain remover to remove heavier stains. So that negates what is said that you don't need anything in the wash.
According the websites that I posted all of they say that the disc are no better then just using plain water. And that you may well need to use higher temps. So that kinds blows the whole eco thing out the window as you need to heat the water more. Which uses gas or electric.
And in 4 years at only 2/3 washes a week. It is doubtful that I would run a bill of £35 for washing powder.
As I said before everyone should do there own research before comitting any money to anything.
