Free Range Eggs @ Tesco

Tesco are selling 6 Medium or large free range eggs by the happy egg co

( www.thehappyegg.co.uk ) for £1

Wasn't well advertised at my store, just had a £1 sticker on the main box and they were on the top shelf

As I only buy free range eggs I thought they were a very good price and looking at the website the chickens look very happy

  • That's a really great price for free range eggs. Closest to that I've seen is 6 large free range eggs at Iceland for £1.25.

I saw an advert in the paper the other day saying that from Feb, all Eggs in Sainsburys will be free range ones (even their value range :T )

Tesco do a pack of 15 mixed weight free range eggs for just £2. Called Farm Pride and in a cheapy looking grey cardboard egg box with red and green writing on. Asda do a pack of 18 free range eggs in a plastic type box for £3.18 and periodically they do a pack of 15 in the same style of packaging for £2. Hope this helps someone.

Tesco eggs are laid by radioactive, mutant chickens with no legs or feathers. Probably.
