Paypal Issue - surely this can't be right?

Hi,

I recently paid for some items via paypal totalling £162.00.
The items are incorrect (wrong size, not what I ordered).

I would have assumed this was a straight forward refund job but as 45 days have past since I paid for them, I have no claim? EVEN though the items only arrived about 15 days ago??

How am I meant to know there is a problem until the goods arrive?
Surely the 45 day period should be from receipt of goods, not payment?

How can a buyer be responsible for delayed postage? (The item had to come from overseas and took 5/6 weeks).

Can anyone advise me if I have any rights whatsoever?

The company themselves are not willing to refund me.

paypal have a strict 45 day policy, and that will not be extended for any reason. Also unless this was an ebay purchase then there is no protection anyway for not as described items, off ebay only item not received claims are possible.

Your only recourse now is via your credit or debit card.

BTW, I think this is on the wrong board as this is the 'shop but don't drop' board so you are unlikely to get many responses.
