Howdy, I have posted before about DeCecco pasta which I think is the top quality pasta brand available. Unfortunately, DeCecco itself has hiked its prices on the website by 40% and the supermarkets now charge round about 1.50 pounds for 500g packet. Well, I have just returned from Makro which runs various promotions: I bought 24 packs of the same pasta type (eg. Fusilli) at 14.95 which works out at about 62 pence - that's less than half the price the supermarkets charge. Makro have 3kg packs available too, but they are a bit dearer. So, those of you with a Makro card interested in paste - go get it, you won't get it cheaper elsewhere.

DeCecco pasta is the best, used in all good restaurants and if you can afford to pay the extra from the supermarket brands then you should, nice spot
