first of all , are you sure they arnt bites from the garden or even flea bites eeek, ;D if you have a cat they are rife at this time of year.
are they pink ish and more like blotches because it could be rosea
are they raised then they will possibly be bites from gnats or mozzies
whatever get some cotton wool
and dab white vinegar on it rub on the hives and you will get almost instant long lasting relief
take a look at this site ;D

Cut out sugars, yeast and mushrooms, stimulants etc such as caffeine, salt, sauces etc. You may be suffering from candida overgrowth and the only way to bring it under control is by starving it of the above. Try it and see what happens. Also check out "Beat Candida" cookbook by Erica White. Good Luck.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. there is so much yeast in white bread these days because they have taken any modicum of goodness from the flour it needs 2 or 3 times the yeast it used to, plus lots of flour improvers that yeast infections such as thrush and hives and candida are rife
cut out the white gooo and eat the stone ground you get used to it after a week and by the second week you wouldnt eat any other kind of bread

Thanks Dug for the link :You can try this simple test to see if you have candida: First thing in the morning, before you put ANYTHING in your mouth, get a clear glass. Fill with water and work up a bit of saliva, then spit it into the glass of water. Check the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour. If you have a problem that THREELAC can help with, you will see strings (like legs) travelling down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, or "cloudy" saliva will sink to the bottom of the glass, or cloudy specks will seem to be suspended in the water. If there are no strings and the saliva is still floating after at least one hour, you probably have candida under control. THREELAC would then be used to maintain good bowel flora and proper pH.

if they are itchy try an antihistamine tablet, somthing like piriton etc
hope this helps0 -
Apparantly citrus fruits have a natural antihistamine so try eating a couple of oranges, a grapefruit for breakfast or a couple of glasses of any citrus fruit juice.I'm a little angel
