Has anyone been offered an incentive by their lender to switch their tracker mortgage for another product or even been bought out of their current deal? Do you know anyone who has? Thank you

A couple of months back someone was offered a deal from the Coventry to leave their lifetime BoE tracker. They got so frustrated with users not believing them that they posted up a pic of the offer letter.
A few people have come on here reporting deals from sub prime lenders accepting 94-7% of the total amount to be repaid to leave.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yes some sub-prime mortgage lenders are offering customers discount to cash in their home loans early to get them off the company's books.......In addition to the discount, the specialist lender is waiving early redemption charges and exit fees if they move to another lender by the end of their term..........as this offers the lender a better deal than selling the loans to other financial institutions.........However, you won't find a mainstream lender offering this at a time when they are so reluctant to lend0
