I have to say that i've been looking at Sony and Panasonic HDTV LCD's in Tesco this week for the first time and they've almsot taken my breath away with their clarity.
They were both over £1000, so i'd be interested to hear what an Acer is like at this price?

Be careful, the response time for this TV is 24ms - very poor for watching sport or TV with high levels of movement.
I would recommend going for a TV with a response time of 12ms or less. Novatech do some good looking sets, but I've not seen these in person yet - even though they are local to me.This space for rent0 -
