Court date and now panicking!!!

Hello

Rang court today and they have set a date for my bankrupcy for the 19th feb. They have now said that only if the judge approves the application will I become bankrupt. On what basis can they refuse a bankrupcy. I have my heart set on it now! Panicking!

    Please don't panic.....

Grounds for refusal are ..... that you are not insolvent, have not taken advice, no paperwork - that sort of thing. General feeling on here is that it very rarely happens and it is usually because the person is ill-prepared for one reason or another.
Because you have got all your help and advice from the forum and have taken advice from one of the debt charities none of this applies in your case..

    Hope you are reassured

if you're incomings are less than your outgoings and you cant meet your repayments, then yes i believe thats what is considered being insolvent!

Please get professional advice on your situation. There are some links and numbers in my sig. If you look in the Bankruptcy Help sticky ther is some more. You need to do this as the judge could delay your BR petition if until you do.

Please be patient as they are all really busy at the moment and you will have to sit with your finger on redial. Some people are reporting for up to half an hour before they get through.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
