deed of consent

When my partner and I brought a house 10 years ago I signed a deed of consent as all the money for the mortgage was his. We are getting married soon after bringing up my children together . I have paid bill that are in my name and brough furnishings for the house . My name is not on the deeds. Can we revoke the deed in any form so that if something happens to him the house will be mine or the money from its sale will come to me. We still own the house and are worried about the future. The mortgage is nearly paid off. Should we contact the solicitor we went to.
