Deed of Trust help!

Hi,
first of all i'm not sure if this is in the right place or not so feel free to move to the right place!
I moved into my OH's house a year and a half ago, my OH wants to show a bit more commitment to me but wants to protect his house - obviously. So we've decided to look at getting a 'deed of trust' where if we ever split up he wants me to have about 10% or whatever percentage of the house as i've put a lot of money into it so far and soon i'l be giving him about £3000 to help with getting a car.
I've tried researching into it but not really got that far. Has any one else had one? Do you know how much this costs? What exactly needs to go into it?
Or could anyone recommend a good solicitor that wont rip us off?
Thanks in advance.
Liz.
