I bought a car from fusco vehicle sales, i had seen the car i loved online through their website and although they had great pictures of the car on the site it was a blind sale as i lived far away and couldn't travel down to see it in person, i rang and left a holding deposit over the phone so the car couldn't be sold to anyone else until i arranged viewing, i looked up reviews later that evening of fusco and was shocked to find some off putting remarks. i rang fusco straight away and confronted the staff to say i was now worried etc they reassured me the car would be 100% and the reviews were on a lot older, less vaule cars that only had their old warranty on it so only covered gearbox and engine, the warranty i would get was a platinum warranty covering all things just not wear and tear, this gave me peace of mind. they accommodated me and had the car delivered to me FREE off charge, the car arrived and just as i had been advised the car was spotless inside and out, no damage and drove perfectly and 6 months later still is, i am more than happy with the service i got :)

Newbie, registered today pulls up a 2 year old thread to give a glowing review and tries to explain away previous bad reviews?

    Hmmm...

    Whats that i smell?

I was going to say, you couldnt make it up, but clearly somebody did.

"seen the car i loved online through their website" - yeah, handy website plug
"they had great pictures of the car on the site" - handy website plug
"a blind sale" - trade term
"i rang and left a holding deposit over the phone so the car couldn't be sold to anyone else until i arranged viewing" - of course you did, because theres such demand for their cars
"i looked up reviews later that evening of fusco and was shocked to find some off putting remarks." - well theres plenty of those
"i rang fusco straight away and confronted the staff to say i was now worried etc they reassured me the car would be 100% and the reviews were on a lot older, less vaule cars that only had their old warranty on it so only covered gearbox and engine" - still doesnt explain why they dont honour their responsibilities under the SOGA?
"the warranty i would get was a platinum warranty covering all things just not wear and tear" So it wont cover anything at all then as the warranty company employ 1,000 people trained to ensure that everything is 'wear and tear'
"this gave me peace of mind. " It would give me sleepless nights
"they accommodated me and had the car delivered to me FREE off charge" I'm sure they would if you've just given them all your hard earned for a car you've never seen or driven. you'd have a heart like a lion to pay for a used car unseen. I'll deliver my golf to you FREE of charge if you deposit a large sum in my bank account.
"the car arrived and just as i had been advised the car was spotless inside and out, no damage and drove perfectly and 6 months later still is, i am more than happy with the service i got" of course you are. ;)

Once they read all this i wonder will they come back feigning being offended or will they have the sense to let it go now they've been rumbled?

I had originally marked it as 'Spam' post but have cancelled that now!

I don't want the Moderator to pull such a gem!!!:rotfl:
  • If you want to know what Fusco will be getting into stock just check the sales list from Carryduff Auction, with known faults on the car listed. This is then ignored and the cars put straight up for retail.
  • Votp is correct but he seems to favour Wilsons Auctions Mallusk now. Watched him buy 60 cars over 2 nights and he never checked for warning lights, malfunctions, damage, condition or anything. Appearred to just want volume and didnt care about condition. Or also to keep the rest of the other dealers out of the equation and get all for himself. Paid dear for everything too so will not even have cheap cars in stock - just overpriced rubbish in my opinion. Potential customerz definitley need to be careful!
