    I'm not bothered enough to spend a tenner it's just that I was under the impression that ALL searches were recorded I was curious thats all......
    Aiming to be debt free....but still off target

    It happened the same with me. I think, when you fill up an application form, if you pass the first round, which is their own credit scoring according to your answers, that's the only time some of them do the next searches with the CRAs.

    I remember, when I called Bank of Scotland for a further advance on our home, she asked if she could credit check me after the application process. But then at the end, when we did not pass their own credit score, they did not bother checking with theCRAs.
