HI Maz - was beginning to wonder if you'd survived the birthday weekend! Hope it all went well and you got a chance to recover on Sunday...

    [strike]Clean fridge[/strike]
Clean bathroom (properly - did a 'fly lady' swish and swipe at the weekend but it needs attention...)
Iron Hubbles' shirts for the week
Bake a coffee cake (assumiong ingredients in cupboard - it is too cold to go out!)
Finish off buttons etc on baby knitting
    Laundry
    [strike]Sort baking ingredients cupboard[/strike]
Make soups - potato, bacon and cabbage/mushroom & tarragon
Make crumbles to use up apples/pears

    I survived! just!!

My weekend looked like one of your lists!! Although some of my list was selfish things, like bingo and body shop party at friends!

Squeezed in a run and swim on sunday though as well....!

Also, a new experience to report... i took my brother in law for a driving lesson at the weekend... he was quite good and i quite enjoyed it. I think i may have missed my vocation!!!

Important to do things for yourself too!

Sammy - have you tried a local filling station for a sledge?

Pooky - am coping better with the insulin. I'm even managing to inject it within 20 minutes of starting now (Thursday night it took forever - I just sat with the injection above my skin for nearly 40 minutes trying to pluck up the courage to make contact with the skin:o but as I said, it's getting much better.

The metformin they prescribed also seems to be helping though I'm skeptical about taking an unlicensed drug even if it is recommended by the NICE guidelines, it's still unlicensed in pregnancy:eek:

Have you tried Asda - my local one seems to have a huge box every time snow's due.
