Chalk Board / Double Sided Easel

Hi everyone,

I want to get the little 'uns a double sided easel for xmas.

I have seen them at £40 at toys r us and you get free chalks etc with them.

Does anyone have any more ideas where I could get one from and if I can get any discounts etc?

Thanks all

Paul

Have you actually seen the toysrus one? If you've the room at home, it's a huge great sturdy beasty of an easel and the box of chalks etc is huge too. When I bought it, I didn't realise there were free crayons and was expecting a little box, but you get quite a large toy box with stuff in.

I've seen the cheaper ones, which are fine, but I've two boys who's hobbies are play fighting, jumping off furniture and in the case of the younger (it's his pressie) drawing on (newly decorated) walls :o I don't think the slimmer ones will take the battering in this house. ;D

IKEA - think it was £12 ish - not sure if it's double sided.

Not huge though, stands about 4' high, the board around 20 '' x 15 '' ish!

Bet someones got one, on here!

The Toys R Us one sounds cool!

We have the big purple ToysRUs one - got it in the sale but still about £30. It was worth every penny as it has been used loads. It folded down somwhat and slid where we used to slide the high chair as it is about the same size. Now it is in the back garden and all the kids play with it....great fun.

Check this out, a brilliant value package including the easel. I have been searching for desks and the desk and chair alone in this package costs up to £60 on some sites! A great buy for those with smaller children.
