Nationwide offer two holidays within the mortgage term. Up to 12 months off each time but you pay in the long term.

I remember when 5.4% or even 5.99% was a good rate!

Has anyone got any experience dealing with a case of misselling? I'm slightly confused because on the mortgage statement it shows a figure for redemption. What's the best way to resolve it as it should not be on the statement. as we really do not know anything about it. What's the best way to resolve it? Thanks

I don't think the fact you "don't know anything about it" is a reason for mis-selling.......

& also who said the redemption figure shoud not be on the statement???????

tell me pls, where did you get these ideas from!!??

your answers. I had a discussion with my brother and this is what he said. He has a mortgage of his own and is a Chef by profession. I asked this question on here for advice.

Firstly, you don't receive advice on here it is opinion, advice is given by a mortgage advisor and not allowed on here even although some people post with that signature..........

Secondly, I will state again.........your lack of knowledge of mortgages is not a reason for mis-selling

Thirdly, yr brother may be very good in his chosen profession but as far as I am aware chef's training doesn't extend to mortgage advice .......... Re redemption figures appearing on statement, ask him : Why shouldn't it appear
