Just got my gas and electric bill online from British Gas. Should I pay this or shall I wait. My BR hearing is on the 9th Feb.

You can include the debt in your bankruptcy paperwork..depends on arrears etc....BUT british gas have recently become a little bankrupt unfreindly so they may close your account and insist on installation of pre-pay meters for gas/elec
if your not in arrears just continue payments as usual...Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

Do you have any other arrears? If you intend to stay where you are, and continue using the utility companies you are with, you might as well pay them and just continue the service.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

No arrears thankfully. Might as well keep quiet and see what happens. I pay by instalments using DD. But if I tell them I'm moving banks to the CO-OP without a reason that should be OK."What does not kill you makes you stronger"0
