    If you have an interest only mortgage payments come off the capital owed and the term remains the same. You are not restricted by the 10% overpayment rule on interest only.

    You need to contact the bank to find out how you can make your overpayments.

    I bank with the co-op bank.

    You need to have the banks sort code and mortgage account number, your mortgage number is the bill reference number. You will have to contact the HBOS for this information.

    its ok. I had all those details and it still rejected. I have asked in branch before and was told it was only possible to pay by standing order, I just wondered if it had changed.
    Perhaps its possible paying from one bank to another and not an internal transfer as it were...
