Recommendations for an orthodontist in London

Hello everyone,

Well, I have a large gap in my teeth, both top and bottom and my teeth also seem to be protruding. I have a bit of an overbite and have decided to get braces to fix the problem.

I need some recommendations for orthodontists in London based on service, price and professionalsim.

Has anyone had cosmetic dentistry recently in London and could give me any recommendations. What did you have done and why? How much was the treatment?

Did you visit more than one practice and then choose?

Thanks in advance

I would find a general dentist first just to make sure everything is OK, and that the treatment you want is appropriate.

That dentist will then refer you to an orthodontist, and that will take a lot of the hassel out of finding one on your own.

If you try to find an orthodontist by yourself, you'd pay for the initial consultation, and if anything was amiss - like fillings needed or gum problems, then you'd be sent away to get that fixed before the orthodontist would treat you anyway.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
