Arthritic mum needs a new vacuum cleaner. we have been looking at Sebo, Meile or Oreck. Any suggestions or recommendations - Sebo looks good to us?

Go to a shop and let her try it first, she will get a feel for how easy they are to move around, and whether the bag changing is fiddly or not.
Then look for the best deal online.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I would go for Oreck. My wife has arthritis & finds the Oreck very light & easy to move about. It also picks up really well on both carpet or hard floors. We have had ours for over 9yrs & it is still going strong.

We have a Sebo. I don't have arthritis but it's too heavy for me, OH has to do the vacuuming (but I'm not complaining

I have arthritis, I've been thinking of getting one of those hand held jobs to do bits and bobs with.0
