Doing my first SOA

I'm in a bit of strange situation. Although my ex lives in the same house as I do, we have no financial connection (except the mortgage). I give her half of the mortgage every month which she pays out of her bank account and she gives me a contribution to the utility bills that are in my name. This is laid down in a Tomlin Order. We buy our own food and housekeeping items. Its renting a room in all but name!
So in the SOA do I say two adults or one (me). Also do I include her contribution to the utility bills as part of my monthly income?
I'm sure there will be more questions as I fill it out so bear with me.

Well i am not sure either:o but i think you should put down the full mortgage amount per month, then what your ex pays you, as her contirbution, then the rest of the bills as they are, then the food ect for only you. Do you just split all utilities 50-50?. Some of the others will be up and about later and they hopefully will be able to say what they think. Because the utiltiy bills will reflect the usage of two people and to get the full allowance for 2 you would need to put number in household down as 2.
If it's wrong you will get chance to tell the OR during the interview and to explain the situation,or you could put a letter in explaining the situation.

Gosh, that does sound a tad confusing.
What is a Tomlin order, I've never heard of one?
Dalip has already given you excellent advice, I am just curious about the Tomlin thingy;):j BSC 221 :jJanuary 2009 Club Number 7BR 30.01.090 -
Why don't you do an SOA with both scenarios and see if there is any difference. It is likely to be similar.
