Be aware that this is vehicle membership only, covering one vehicle and not you as the driver (You can change vehicle mid policy though).

Also it appears only roadside assistance is available, so your car needs to be no more than 10 years old!

In addition to the general vehicle specifications set out above, the following terms apply to Vehicle Membership (Please note: these are not applicable to Personal Membership):
a) AA breakdown assistance is only available under Vehicle Membership for a vehicle which has been registered with the AA at the time assistance is requested; and
b) Where only Roadside Assistance is held, the vehicle must be no more than 10 (ten) years old at the date of registration with the AA; and
c) It is possible to change the vehicle registered under Vehicle Membership during the Membership Year. Please note however that service will not be available for the new vehicle until 24 hours after the AA receives notification of the vehicle change. In addition the AA reserves the right not to re-register any vehicle which has been previously registered during the same Membership Year. The AA will be entitled to require an additional premium if more than 3 (three) vehicle changes are requested in a Membership Year.

For a one car "family" (i.e. one car but more than one user) this is pretty good... we've been in the situation where one of us was covered but the other not.

I took up this offer back in December and i did receive my vouchers but had to wait about a month.

thanks just joined you have to do direct debit, was wondering though what if you want to cancel after the first year? have been reading t&cs but nothing to say about cancelling after 1st year it just says,

This is only available to new AA members for the first 12 months of cover, thereafter the renewal price will be the standard price (at the time of renewal) for the chosen level of membership. The offer is for a £20 M&S voucher and is available to new members only, who must join the AA online and pay by a recurring transaction arrangement. Allow 28 days for delivery. Cash or other alternative not available. Subject to availability and while stocks last.

When i joined something similar it also stipulated the car had to less than 10 years old,not sure if this is the case here though ,great spot OP!!

Even though I cancelled a similar one,by phone (keep a note),they sent me renewal well before and I just cancelled it again.Make sure you inform your bank too!!

To be classed as a new member,you usually have to let 6 weeks elapse from your last membership.

I have just looked at their site-can't see this offer.
