Attention Landlords! Seeking new house (South Belfast)

We're looking for a new place as our current house has a bit of a damp problem, lease runs out here at the end of May and we are so fed up of agencies with their umpteen administration charges. It can add up to a lot of money!
So we are hoping to rent directly from a landlord - if anything, I feel sorry for our LL as he is obviously paying a lot to the agency and it really is money for old rope!
Anyway, does anyone know of any decent houses available or where we could find ads etc? We're looking around Ormeau/Stranmillis/Lisburn Roads mostly, we'd like a house (not a flat) with 2 or 3 bedrooms, preferably Phoenix gas and with a dining table, that's about it really (we're easily pleased! hahaha).
PM me or just post here if anyone can help.
Thanks.

teaspoon1, we were looking for somewhere in Sept (think there is a thread around here about renting in belfast) and we went through loads of the estate agents (who brought us around the biggest dives!) and finally found somewhere by looking at the belfast telegraph!!0

Thanks, all of you. I will check out that thread and see how I get on. I'd totally forgotten about the Telegraph, Thursday evening isn't it?
I do like the convenience of looking on propertynews with pics etc, but am just fed up of renting through agents as it is generally a rip off and a pain.0 -

I had a look at the Tele on-line but they just link to http://www.propertynews.com/rentalsearch.php :rolleyes:Dave0 -
My sister is moving out of her house next week on the cregagh road as she lost her job.....and going home to mummy. but she got hers on gumtree....directly with the Landlord.
It was certainly less money upfront for her than paying an agent....even to renew her tenancy with the previous agent was £75 + vat ...just to sign up again for another 6 months....0
