Temporary worker at T***o with unpaid wages

I spent Christmas 2008 working as a Temp for a major Supermarket but only have been paid £89 for my last 8 days working there(working full-time).
I was sent my P60 but with an incorrect last day for working there and wrong total amount of pay, but I wasn't even paid the amount stated on there!!
They said there's nothing they can do and that I have been paid correctly - therefore I'm basically be played a fool by them.
What are my options? Do I have any? Or are they just able to bully me and basically leave me out of pocket by £275 after tax?
Small claims Court? Cititzens Advice? Can I present a letter to them in person stating my intentions?
Basically - what is my full procedure from here.....and what are my chances?

I guess one question might be whether you have any proof of any description as to what days you actually worked there? But - proof or no proof of that fact - they know the facts and can soon enough check by asking other workers if they recall "whether that temp who worked for us for a few days was in on such-and-such date that you were on duty".
Personally - I would send them a letter (recorded delivery) stating the facts, ie "I worked at such-and-such a store from this date to that date at a rate of pay of....I note there has been an error in the salary received and would imagine this is due to your records having been incorrectly noted as to what dates I actually worked. I would appreciate if you could look into this matter and correct your records. I look forward to receiving cheque for £x - being balance of money owed to me by (give them a deadline date of - say - 2 weeks time).
I regret that if cheque for balance of monies outstanding owed to me is not received by (deadline date you give them) then I will be pursuing this further by putting in a claim via the Small Claims Court. I look forward to hearing from you."0 -
And remember that the "small claims court" is actually a procedure in the county court system, so you might want to have a look here - http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/infoabout/claims/index.htm0

The supermarket should have a record for you working there the hours you claim you did. Plus surely you should have a record from them e.g. a rota showing your shifts?
I worked in Tesco this Christmas (as temp staff) and I had a card that I needed to swipe at start and end of shift.
What role did you do in the store? Can your hours be traced from this? E.G. I was on checkout and had to log into the till to operate it so there was proof that way too. Or can they check the CCTV?
Best thing is to make a note of all the hours you have worked and then go in and see the manager to discuss it with them.
One other thing is that I was emergency taxed as I had no P45 to give in (as this was a 2nd job) and I am still waiting for the refund to come back from HRMC.
