I thought I had read somewhere that you didn't get free gifts with the subscription magazines? only by buying it in shop you get free gifts - is this true?
only company or their publisher 'nat mags'. i cancelled my subs as soon as i didnt receive one about 3 years ago. they said it was 'too expensive' postage wise.
  • It wasnt March last year, I'm sure. I know because I bought mine in Durham when I had to go to collect dd1's adult passport which I could only go for when she was 16 in June. So it must have been July's mag last year

I second that, as I purchased mine when I was a bit too early for my last School's sports day and had to wait in the car park, which was for both the sport's centre we were holding it in and a Tesco, and Sport's day would have been either June or July before we broke up for summer.
Do not feed the trolls please.
  • wow just read the two posts saying you got 6 copies for £6 and also £9.99 for a year? how do you get these deals? TIA xx

Buy a cope of the magazine & the usual deals are £6 for 6 issues/£14 for 12 (not sure if you can get just six issues). And there is usually a pretty decent free gift with it too. Its an opi manicure set this month.
