BR issue with Father in Law & Husband

Hopefully you can help me.
My Husbands Mum and Dad are about to enter into a DMP or Bankrupcy, currently working through the options.
My husband has a credit card under his dad's name (he is the second cardholder). There is currently a balance of approx £5000 on this card, some of this is my husbands and some of this is his dad's.
There is no issue with this card , my husband and I have being paying it every month so there are no arrears.
What I am worried about is the implications on my husband with his fathers debt as he's named on the card.
If the card is rolled into all the DMP or BR, will the credit card company come after my husband as he is credit worthy instead to pay the full balance?

The Primary card holder is the debt owner and the only person responsible for the debt. A secondary card holder cannot be chased at all.
If possible, remove the secondary card holder before any DMP/BR to keep your peace of mind if you are still unhappy about it.0 -
need to clarify
Is the card on Dh name with FIL as second signatory or in FIL name with Dh as second signatory? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
It's in the FIL's name with husband as second card holder0

Ok
First thing is that card is going to be unusable once FIL goes BK, the OR will take over the account.
Legally, the debt probably is all FIL's but the OR may consider that DH owes FIL for the money he has spent on it.
It might be an idea to check Dh credit records and see if there is any association with FIL as it would adversely affect Dh if he is associated with some who is BK. You need to sever any connection if possible. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
