Anyone used a wealth coach?

Has anyone any experience of using either a wealth coach or a related website? I came across the Money Gym website, where they ask £380 per month subscription  and right now I think that perhaps that's a great way for them to get rich, but not me...

I am in a reasonably good position financially, but feel it could be so much better and in particular am looking to grow my income considerably. I feel as if I am floundering a little trying to do it on my own.

A better investment would be buying Martin's book - what, £3.99 on Amazon these days with free postage if you get your order up to £15? So buy some more 'wealth creating' books, I'm sure Amazon will suggest a few.

Work your way through that methodically and that should help.

While you're waiting for it to arrive, find your way round the boards and look out for the 'making money' / wealth creation tips. I'm not recommending it, but some people make a lot from online gambling by following the 'rules' of never spending their own money.

If I had £380 per month spare, I don't think I'd consider myself in need of a Wealth Coach! :rotfl: You're quite right, they'll get a lot richer than anyone who signs up will!

Not only that, their contact number is an 0870 one...so they rack up money when you call them!

I don't expect something for nothing, but I don't think I'll be joining the Money Gym. I reckon, as Savvy Sue says, a combination of some reading/researching round the subject and doing some hard thinking about the way forward would be a better investment of my time and money. I've started incorporating some of the excellent money saving tips from this board, so I'mm already minimising my outgoings - just have to turn my attention now to maximising the income side.
Incidentally, Savvy Sue, am I imagining it or did I see a post from you in another thread saying you were from Bristol, as I am?

I wouldn't yet say I was 'from' Bristol, but I have lived her for the last 6 years and don't intend to move ... Although at Christmas there was a quiz in the Bristol Evening Post in which I came out as most definitely a Bristolian!

Back on topic: the beauty of doing your own research is that you can prioritise on the areas you want, rather than those someone else recommends. I could probably spend less and earn more if I put my mind to it, but at the moment I'm happy with the measures I've taken. There's such as thing as taking it to extremes!
