I'll stick with my Portmeirion, I think it's much more attractive.
    Still reassuringly expensive and British

  • Still available for £36.70 from Amazon themselves here

This is the same link as above and it's been adjusted from last night to 2-4 weeks delivery....
  • Jodie, when it actually says that the seller is Amazon, or 'Amazon EU Sarl' or whatever it is, surely this is actually Amazon, or a branch like their Jersey branch rather than anyone else?

    I've been Money Tipped!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and, at first, I loved it as it looks quite stylish and kept the tea very hot. I assumed the leak I'd spotted on its first use was just me pouring it wrong or overfilling it or something. However the next day my mum was washing it and noticed that it was cracked inside, ie it had leaked when I filled it over the cracked level.

Sadly I sent it back and did not request a replacement - I think the glass is just too fragile and could so easily be broken and replacements are doubtless very dear.

So shame but at least I am better off again now! It's back to the old Spode for me!
  • They arrived a couple of days ago and I'm really pleased... haven't used them though, one's a present and one will be for me :)
