Government Gateway password being e-mailed

Hi folks

I've lost my password for online self assessment with government gateway so I've filled in all the details and it said that they will e-mail the 2nd half of the new password to me. This one 15 mins ago and no e-mail!

is it just taking a while because the system is busy?? I would've though it would come through automatically

no I'm still waiting, and panicking!

The next step might be to ring them, but I doubt whether they will give out a password over the phone.

Gahhh.. still no password!!

I just trie phoning the helpdesk number and it says they will not be able to answer any calls for 4 hours...
