Hi,

I saw your post at 5.25pm and rang local store for opening times (close at 6pm). Rushed there and picked up two bargains for £60. There was one that I saw Friday whilst carpet hunting and it had already been reduced to £225 so I know that this was the true price. £60 bargain and I got another one!

They told me that it ended today (one day only) Even when I was there, here said let him put it through the till now as it was past their closing time and their prices get updated on their computer system (he did not want me to lose out on the discount)

Quick update on my original post:

The bargain remnant I got turned out to be faulty and had to be returned. By then the remnants had gone back up to full price (an equivilent type, colour and size being £299) so of course I was just given my original £60 refund.
So, if anyone spots any carpet bargains, could they PLEASE let me know, thanks.
