What do I need to do?

With 9 days to go before BR hearing can someone tell me what I need to do and what paperwork I need to take to court. I'm being made BR by Vertex Data so they are picking up the tab :D

If you're being made BR you don't need to take anything to the court, just yourself.

Afterwards the OR will send you a booklet to fill in, and will ask for bank statements etc. But that won't happen until a few days after the hearing.

Out of interest who are Vertex Data?

Vertex Data have bought my HSBC debt. HSBC were OK but Vertex are complete Bast*ards. To quote their website "Vertex is a leading global BPO and customer management outsourcing business."

That saddens me, HSBC were our biggest creditos, if we'd have hung on a bit longer we'd have saved ourselves £1k in BR fees:D

But seriously, I think you're the first person here who is being made BR from an HSBC related debt, it's usually only HMRC, council tax and Amex who actually go through with it, although many do threaten to.
