No not this morning Len, DD just decided that 6am was time to get up...she hasn't been up that early for ages!
Im feeling a bit Pah this morning, like im coming down with something so have taken my echinacea to kill it off.

Oh ok, I thought enhincacea was a prepartory drug i.e. you take it to avoid it not to get rid of it??? Anyway I wanna know what drives you on when you get up and is pishing down with rain and its cold but you still go out there. Tell me what is your secret?

Yeah you do take it to avoid it. I only ever take it when I can just start to feel a bit pah and so far since September ive not been ill, no colds, none of that horrible virus so im happy.

My secret, there is no secret Len. If I didn't have the marathon to train for I would still be tucked up in my bed I suppose the marathon is always something I have wanted to achieve in my life (will only do it once) and if that means hard graft for 6 months then I guess its not so bad. I also think that I haven't achieved much in life, im a bit of a quitter, its built in me to quit so if I don't do well then I won't be disappointed. Im trying to mentally overcome that as that will be the killer for me as I am running around London like a mad fool on April 26th! I am definately a fair weather runner though and am so looking forward to those light warm evenings that I can run
